Certified Scuba Diving in the Cozumel Barrier Reef
Cozumel's incredible Barrier Reef is just a dive away!
After arriving at the dive shop, you will rent only the gear you need for your Cozumel excursion, and then head to the boat.
Depending on the water conditions that day, your captain will take you to the best location on the reef for scuba. You will be diving in the National Marine Park.
The first dive is normally to a depth of 60-80 feet, followed by one hour of surface time on the boat.
Your captain will then take you to another location along Cozumel's barrier reef for a second dive, usually between 40 and 60 feet.
Please Note: All participants must pay the captain a $5.00 US per person park admission fee on the day of the tour. As many guests travel with partial equipment, equipment rental is not included in the cost of the Cozumel tour. Equipment can be rented at the shop. The approximate prices are as follows: regulator $14 US per day, BCD $14 US per day, wet suit $12 US per day, underwater flashlight $12 US per day, Nitrox $14 US per day, mask, snorkel, and fins $9 US per day. These prices are subject to change without notice.

An approximately 10 to 15 minute walk or an approximately 10 minute taxi (not included, approximately $10 US each way) is required to reach your departure location.
Food/Beverage Provided
Water, soda, and a small snack is included.
Special Instructions
We recommend you wear a bathing suit under comfortable clothing which may get wet and rubber-soled shoes. Guests should bring a towel, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
Restrictions
The minimum age to participate is 12 years old. Guests between 15 and 17 years of age must have an adult accompany them to the dive shop to sign the waiver. Guests 12 to 14 must have an adult diving with them or hire a private dive master to accompany them at an additional cost on the day of the tour, and parents must still sign the waiver. This dive is for certified divers who have dived in the last 12 months only. A valid C-card and picture ID will be required at check in. Guests without a valid C-card will not be able to participate and are not entitled to a refund. Participants with heart conditions, a current cold or sinus congestion, epilepsy, asthma, diabetes, a severe medical problem, who are or may be pregnant or who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not permitted to dive. Health restrictions apply and a waiver and medical statement is required to be filled out by all participants. Please look at the following example: PADI Health Questionnaire If you cannot pass the questionnaire, or do not have the required physician's statement, you will not be permitted to dive. Guests not able to dive will not be entitled to a refund so please look at the questionnaire BEFORE booking this tour. Mr. Miller is the former Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer for Abercrombie & Kent, the World's leading luxury travel company. In that role, Mr. Miller was responsible for contributing to Abercrombie & Kent's international growth through the development and acquisition of tour products and travel experiences around the world with a specific focus on cruising and land based experiences. Prior to joining Abercrombie & Kent, Mr. Miller held a variety of executive positions with Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises for more than a decade. These positions included Vice President of Guest Sales & Service, Vice President of Brand Development, and Vice President of Onboard Revenue (which included shore excursions). Mr. Miller also led Celebrity Expeditions, a collection of outstanding and unique tours around the World.
Michael Bonner
Mr. Bonner has over a decade of experience working in the cruise industry in a variety of roles for both Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and Viking River Cruises. Most recently, Mr. Bonner was the Chief Operating Officer for The Scholar Ship, a Royal Caribbean program aimed at providing college students onboard educational programs in conjunction with enriching shore excursions around the world. Mr. Bonner also helped co-manage Viking River Cruises U.S. Operations, and he ran the corporate, strategic, and deployment planning functions at Royal Caribbean. While at Royal Caribbean, Mr. Bonner was responsible for forming Royal Celebrity Tours, Royal Caribbean's land-based tour operation in Alaska, which takes cruise passengers on multiple day tours through the interior of Alaska either before or after their cruises.
